Frankie's

We were very excited to spend our anniversary in the Berkshires and enjoy the great local food .. Frankie’s did not deliver . Our server treated us like an inconvenience… slamming things on .. when asked for something would reply with poor attitude . Our food was average .. veal parm covered in an over abundance of melted cheese not Parmesan not mozzarella but cheddar and thin as paper. So not authentic Italian as advertised. I have a gluten allergy I asked for gluten free pasta with my clam sauce.. dish came out with just clams no GF pasta … was brought back to the kitchen returned with undercooked GF pasta and cold ! The whole experience was disappointing. Thanks Frankie’s for giving us such a memorable anniversary. CIAO!

Thank you to Molly Lyon-Joseph, owner, and her amazing staff for accommodating our bookclub on a very busy night. We had reservations for two tables and we were allowed to put the tables together so all 7 of us could enjoy each other’s company. Our server was gracious and patient. My food, clams and pasta, was delicious and I really appreciate the restaurant’s attention to providing gluten-free options. It was great to see Sapphire at the bar! A terrific locally owned business that takes care of its employees and patrons. Highly recommend.
