On Saturday, I was invited to lunch at Freckled Fin. I had no idea it was Celtic Fest. They had live music and the place was full of people in kilts enjoying themselves. The regular menu looked pretty good, however the special for the day won me over. It was a toss up of prime rib or the stuffed pork loin with a cherry Bailey’s reduction. My friend decided on the prime rib and it looked and tasted delish. The pork loin was the jewel. It was tender and so flavorful. I could have licked the plate! The new executive chef is making some amazing new dishes and even brings out tastings of new things they are trying or testing out. Definitely going back again soon. Also, if you are gluten free they are helpful and make sure that a salad isn’t your only option.
