Fred Meyer

I don't have any complaints about our local Fred Meyer. The staff is always friendly and helpful, also the store is clean. What I truly love about this Fred Meyer is that whenever I buy produce (organic) it actually lasts awhile! Unlike Safeway in North Gig Harbor (former Albertsons) I would purchase fruit and veggies and within one day or two of purchasing products they would go bad. And I'm not just talking about organic- all produce. I got so tired of throwing food away! Plus you can't beat the prices at Fred Meyer- now I use their app to create lists and pick up so I can budget and use coupons. The pick up staff are great, I rarely have substitutions on my order. My food always looks great and lasts long. They a quick, efficient and so nice! Even better, they have the largest affordable selection of gluten free and allergen friendly products. Almost an entire aisle of flours and it's not doubled in price like Safeway. I've switched to Freddy's months ago and I haven't looked back!

They used to carry lots of IBS friendly food and have it in sections that were easy to find. Now it is a maze and they stopped carrying a lot of brands. Most of the foods now are not very well packaged so I have to comb through nutritional labels. Will be taking my future business to other retailers nearby with more selection for gluten free/dairy free/vegetarian options.
