Freddie's Family Restaurant

Took a while for grumpy waitress to notice our group of 6. On menu it listed gluten free bread choices as an English muffin or marbled rye..and price was highest for that that I have seen at other equitable places, the waitress was not nice..in fact, vehement about explaining the menu was wrong. I ordered basted eggs with link sausage. I got eggs with runny whites and bacon. I sent it back, still runny whites but sausage when it was returned to me. Not pleasant at all. Have not had good experiences in past visits here over past many years.

This place has a very old fashioned style inside, not what you would call elegant dining. That being said, the service is amazing. I haven't had a rude or unfriendly server there ever. The food is standard American fair. I haven't seen anything on their menu that would be acceptable for vegans. They do offer gluten free bread for those with gluten allergies. It is a standard, small town restaurant that caters with a decent cooked meal.
