Freddy J's Bar & Kitchen

Sometimes you’re really just in the mood for pub food. We stayed in Hammonton and made the trip to Freddy J’s because everything near us was either Italian or Mexican. We were craving burgers. My boyfriend had a monstrous burger and I ended up with the Texas twinkies and some French fries. The fries were perfect. I also enjoyed that the menu was labeled with dietary restrictions so I knew what was gluten free.

We happened upon Freddy Js and so happy that we did. We sat at the bar and right away Liz was an absolute hoot! In today’s world, it’s so hard to find genuine people; Liz is one. The food was very good. I had the pulled pork sandwich (without the bun because I’m gluten-free) with homemade chips and my husband had the special, which was home smoked beef brisket on a brioche bun with fries and homemade pickles to die for.
