French Toast Bistro Plymouth

Food is always fresh and tasty. Last visit, it was quite loud do to other folks there. Difficult to chat with my sister with crowd noise. Otherwise, it is always a positive visit. They have many gluten free options too!

The French Toast Bistro is my new brunch fave! As a person with gluten allergies, I love that they have gf bread from Rumi's passion (which is just down the street so the bread is always fresh), so I can order the Avocado Toast plate, which is so much more than just some smashed avocado on Toast! You get dressed greens, pickled onions, goat cheese, and poached eggs (i bet you could get them prepared if you preferred another way). It also includes their potatoes, which are always seasoned well, and a slice of Dearborn ham. Overall, it is an amazing breakfast--and if you have a gluten allergy and felt left behind during the avocado Toast craze, you can tap into it now and get an elevated version at that! My husband had the chicken and waffles. It comes with greens, maple syrup and hot honey. He loved everything. The greens were the first thing he ate - almost forgetting to even offer me a taste! Wow! So good--if you're vegetarian though, the greens won't work for you though. The fried chicken is boneless so it was easy to cut and eat with the waffle. He also had a green smoothie and I had a French 77 cocktail, which were both just what we were looking for to compliment our brunch experience. Very well done, French Toast Bistro! Bravo!!
