Fresca

This is an excellent local establishment. The staff is consistently friendly, and the food and drinks are always good. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. I highly recommend Fresca.

Happy hour is available from Wednesday to Friday between 3 and 6. A friend recommended the sangria which had a nice wine flavor with a hint of citrus, although it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The burger, which another friend raved about, was ordered medium rare but came out mostly medium. However, the patty was impressive - thick, tender, juicy, and flavorful. The plantains were lightly caramelized but could have been riper. The burger also had a runny egg, melted cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tasty rocoto aioli on a brioche roll. The garlic fries were mildly garlicky and extra crispy. Just be aware that sitting at the bar might be chilly if the door is open. The food expediter was great and the server/bartender was busy. I would definitely return for happy hour to try a different drink and bar bite.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Inner Sunset. The food is consistently good and the service is friendly and efficient. I really enjoy their sangria and cocktails.
