Very safe for celiacs needing to eat gluten free. Great food we will be back. A mix of Cuban/Latin American. If you go before a 7pm Redwings game, go at 5pm to get a seat. We loved the chicken and beef Fritas. GF eater had chicken verde bowl. Next time, we’ll order the mayo on the side for the sandwiches, they add a lot and it gets messy. Also, we loved the plantains, but not the loaded ones, because the beans are really spicy. Large groups consider getting the bucket of beers or the fishbowl cocktails because it packs up before games or events and it is hard to get the second drink.

Sometimes you need to go into a place completely blind. It can truly make the experience that much better and when I tell you that this place has me buying half the menu, I kid you not. Frita Batidos is just so much fun. It's like a Cuban family/friend friendly version of "Build a burger" but you NEED to have their chorizo(with egg and fries trust me). (If you are vegan/vegetarian you might need to reconsider for just this once). However, if you need to maintain that profile they have 18 vegetarian options and 2(sorry) vegan. They also have 18 gluten-free options which for me I've never seen before. They have not just an incredible menu that has tons of combinations but even a menu guide for those that need help navigating it and making the most delicious and diet friendly choices possible. The staff is also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Clearly they know their flavor profiles. I am literally eating while writing this it's just that good. The batidos are light and a perfectly delightful balance to your meal. All are tropical flavors. The bombas are so much fun and a great way to end the meal....for now....I am definitely coming back!
