Ate lunch here today and it was excellent!

Fantastic dinner here! I am gluten free and nearly everything on the menu is free of gluten and clearly marked. We ordered the Tilayua chorizo & avocado and it was INCREDIBLE. Very underrrated, and perfect portion for 2-3 people. Loaded guac was fantastic too - chips were solid. We loved the salsas that came with too. They have a flight of 3 margs that we shared - they were a bit smaller than regular margs but we loved having multiple options. Also tried the patatas side - it was spicier than we expected and probably our least fave but still good! Definitely recommend making a reservation - at 8:30pm they were giving 2 hour waits for parties of 4 on a Friday night.

All three chicken dishes we ordered were over salted. We had the flautas, enchiladas and tortilla soup. The green salsa along side my son’s potatoes was also over salted. I first sent my soup back and asked for the flautas that my son ordered. Once he tasted his I cancelled my order and was left to eat a side of plantains. When we addressed the issue the waitress said nothing. And did not inform the manager. When she brought our check we asked to see the manager. We explained the meal and he thanked us for our feedback but never apologized for what was a let down of a meal. As someone who has celiac, dining out happens very infrequently. I was excited for a nice, safe lunch. And all I had was plantains, which were good, but the meal was a huge disappointment. So was the reaction from the manager. We then watched him go to the kitchen, taste something and clearly make a hand gesture to his mouth and with his face which confirmed that it was in fact very salty. We paid and left. I would not recommend. Looks pretty but left much to be desired.
