Frothys Coffee Shop

Nice little cafe, but was very disappointed that every cake was gluten free, and after trying one it was bland and disappointing. The service is always lovely, but the downstairs sometimes has a bad smell

We visited Stamford on a Tuesday afternoon so the high street wasn't busy (just as I like it!). My partner and I generally go to a Costa as we know what we are getting, but spotted Frothy Coffee. My partner is Lactose and Gluten free so it is sometimes a gamble if this can be catered for. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we had a nice chat about the gf and lf options. I had an oat latte with a marshmallow and chocolate slice, my partner had oat latte and an under the counter flap jack..which I had a nibble at. Highly recommended for a coffee and a sweet snack if your thinking about an alternative to the mundane corporate coffee shops..just give the owner a nod and a wink when ordering his gf/lf flapjack!
