We came here for a birthday a few weeks ago and had a very disappointing experience at a restaurant we usually expect good things from. The restaurant was freezing and we were sat in the corner of an otherwise empty restaurant by the windows, and our server would not let us move close to the fireplace. The server was very inattentive and felt like he didn’t want to be there. After stressing that there was a gluten allergy at the table and asking the server twice to check the salad dressing ingredients, one member of the party ended up sick after the meal due to the server disregarding the allergy. Food was not to their usual standards and was overdone. Very disappointing experience for all of us. Will still go back as we know the potential this place has, but still a poor experience nonetheless. Not recommended for those with allergies. EDIT : Response from the owner “Thank your nice reviews You need to write down what the reality is and not turn your dissatisfactions into other things” I wish I knew what you were trying to say here. The “reality” is that your server disregarded that someone at the table had Celiac disease, and made that person incredibly sick for days afterwards. If you think that I am “turning my dissatisfactions into other things” perhaps read up on this life threatening disease and inform your staff on how to handle allergies better. If this is how you handle a review to your restaurant, one in which I stated that we will still be coming back, perhaps the restaurant industry really isn’t for you.

Love the atmosphere. Food generous and delicious. Lamb beautifully seasoned. Our server was very careful to point out what my brother-in-law could order that would be totally gluten free. She double checked with the chef. Service could not have been better.
