Service was wonderful. I have celiac and when I asked our server Ryan to explain what menu option I couldn't have, he wrote right on the menu for us so I didn't have to memorize everything he explained. Every dish we had was simply wonderful flavors!

My girlfriend and I recently visited Galit for dinner. We were seated at the kitchen counter. We both had the set 4-course menu. My girlfriend ordered a cocktail before dinner and we had one glass of wine each with dinner. The service was efficient, but seemed rushed. The hummus and mezze courses were good. But we were disappointed with both of the main courses. The walleye was dry and luke warm. The mushroom schnitzel was soaked in a brownish gravy and did not taste very good. The dessert was good, but we were surprised that we had to share one dessert, considering the high price we were paying. The fixed price, 4-course menu price was $94 per person, which becomes $125 per person when you add the mandatory 20% service charge and 3% employee benefits contribution plus the 10% sales tax. Our total bill came to $337. In our opinion the quality of the meal did not justify this high price. To make matters worse, my girlfriend had a gluten reaction even though we had informed the server about her gluten sensitivity and ordered only those items that he had marked as gluten-free. Still, she had a pretty bad reaction that lasted two days. In our opinion, it was an over-priced meal, which we did not enjoy very much.

Enjoyable experience. Great service. They were very clear what was gluten free and had a lot of option for GF.
