Garden Cafe

Nice unique spot that is tucked into a local Dallas neighborhood. We stopped by to have brunch. Good service and good food. Outdoor patio is a nice setup mixed amongst the gardens. Don’t forget to stop by to see the chickens. Several gluten free choices on the menu. Brussels sprouts were great. Small parking lot next to the restaurant or street parking. A kid’s playground is across the street should the kids need an energy outlet.

We were really happy to be back to this place since it reopened and I wish I could say that I like the renovation. The horseshoe shaped bar now takes up what used to be the front, cafe seating. Part of the charm was the “fend for yourself” / no reservations atmosphere. And they continue to not be gluten free friendly, with no gluten free bread. I wanted to order veggie sausage, but that also contains gluten.
