Gary's Olde Towne Tavern

A great local restaurant. Server was very good and got orders perfectly. Food was delicious, fish sandwiches, chili and quesadilla. There were very accommodating of my gluten intolerance. I would recommend!

I live a mile from this restaurant and we eat there at least once a month. I really really want to like them but much like your drunk uncle, it is a very difficult and complicated. The food is amazing if you can get it within 2 hours as you ordered it. I am not supposed to eat gluten but I had to eat a roll because I was given 2 drinks waiting for a salad that was wrong twice 90 min. Everyone else at the table was given food but me, except they were not given salad dressing or tartar sauce. The excuse, this time, was a table of 16 was sat before us upstairs. When I pointed out the tables all around us were give their meals I was told they did not order the appetisers. I ordered lobster stew but it was almost entirely milk and very bland. If you are given a table in one of the rooms or upstair your food will be cold and very late. (we call it the forgotten rooms) Will. not miss this place. Try MERCEDS, they value all of their customers and they are on the causeway.
