Gasthaus Ödenturm Inh. Ernst Hunger

Gasthof Ödenturm is a family hotel with an excellent restaurant. The owner welcomed us warmly and accommodated us in a modern Bavarian-style Hünerstall bungalow (Chicken coop - humorously typical of the countryside) with a well-equipped bathroom (shower, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, etc.). The windows with a romantic view of the Ödenturm ruins have mosquito nets. There was a guide on the table with exhaustive information about the hotel and the surrounding area that the guest could need. Accommodation outside the hotel was intentional, because preparations were taking place inside for the exuberant carnival that took place the following day. The owner thought about our comfort. In the restaurant, they seated us in a nice place in the modern lounge. From the varied wine list, we ordered an excellent red French wine, followed by tartare (a slightly heavier winter version), for me poached pakambala on vegetables and rice in coconut milk - a delicacy. They willingly made everything gluten-free and dairy-free for me ☺. My mom was equally satisfied with the excellent medium-rare steak with vegetables. I would love to come back here for a gourmet meal.
