Gasthaus zum Adler beim Schwabentor

We had dinner with our parents at Adler and everything went very well from A to Z. The welcome was warm and we were well looked after. When ordering, they competently addressed our mother's gluten and lactose intolerance and explained in detail what was contained in which dishes. We were also able to order half a portion as a starter from a main course (asparagus) on the menu. The selection on the menu itself is quite extensive and the prices are definitely adjusted to what is on offer. The food itself was excellently prepared and served on very hot plates. That's how it should be. The waitress often stopped by and asked if everything was to our satisfaction, so that our other requests such as pepper and salt were quickly fulfilled. Even the dessert and coffee/grappa left nothing to be desired. The restaurant's furnishings are a bit old, but they are very comfortable, clean and well-kept! We were very satisfied and wish the young team, where you can feel a lot of enthusiasm and joy, continued success! We will be happy to come back when the opportunity arises and can recommend the Adler with a clear conscience!
