Gaststätte im Abseits

The name says it all. The restaurant is somewhat hidden behind the elementary school on the edge of a sports field. But whoever has found it can be sure that they will enjoy the next few hours. In many Greek restaurants in the area, the food is good but the service is poor, or the other way around. Often it's just average and when it's full nothing works. It's different when you're offside, everything fits together here. The waitresses are attentive, friendly and even when it's packed you get very good service. We never waited more than a few minutes. However, a reservation is recommended. The food is typically Greek, the menu isn't too big, but what's on it is really tasty. The service is friendly, relaxed and tries very hard to find something suitable even for more demanding requests. (Lactose, gluten, vegan, picky kids, etc.) So that there is no misunderstanding: it is not an allergy or vegan restaurant but the dishes are handmade and every effort is made to make the guest happy. After a long search for a good Greek restaurant, Offside has become our personal insider tip. Long may the restaurant exist!
