Gaucho Manchester

Excellent steak and was really good with me having gluten free intolerance thank you

I rarely leave reviews of restaurant because frankly they often disappoint. Our visit to Gaucho courtesy of a gift from one of our children as a thank you was different. From the moment we entered we were made welcome. Pre-dinner drink (Bramble which was lovely). We were taken to our table and our server Emma introduced herself. Emma was in every respect outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. She took great care to explain the menu and wine list to us. My wife is coeliac (allergic to gluten) and Emma was very knowledgeable and if she was uncertain about anything she asked the kitchen and didn’t just guess as we have experienced elsewhere. We thoroughly enjoyed the food from the menu which applied to our gift but was assured we could choose from the main menu instead and use the value of the voucher towards it. This is obviously a steakhouse and I cannot comment n anything but the steak but the steak was excellent. Trust me this is praise indeed as we have what we believe to be one of the best butchers around and it was at that level!! However the main point of this review is to compliment Gauchos in general but Emma in particular. Thank you for looking after us so well
