I was shocked at how little attention is paid to the welfare of the animals. As others have said here, the kids have to deal with young children all day long who feed them and pet them and want attention, they don't get any rest. And I don't know how they ensure that the animals don't get too much or too little to eat. Children can buy a bowl of Bix or a bottle of milk to feed the goats and no one pays attention to which goats get what. The goats are therefore constantly competing for their food. It really didn't feel good. I read somewhere that they are taken away from their mother after an hour, which is why they naturally need to be fed additional milk. I also read something about wounds and diarrhea in a review on Tripadvisor from April 2024. Furthermore, it was very messy. Apple pie was not tasty. No soy or oat milk possible in coffee, no lactose or gluten-free pancakes. It seemed rather uncharitable and commercial to me. For those who read this, please go to a loving petting zoo in Utrecht Naturally (so Koppelsteede, Griftsteede, etc.), where they treat their animals well and nature is central, so that your children learn that animals may be sweet and beautiful and interesting, but there do not exist for their entertainment.
