Gelato Paradiso

If you are gluten-free and don't want a cone and care about the environment, don't go here, or if you just care about the environment. Their ice cream cups are colored plastic. I thought they might have a place to put them for washing and reuse, but they all go in the trash. There are frozen yogurt chains that offer paper cups and biodegradable spoons. Why can't a high end gelato shop like this charge a little more and offer biodegradable eco-friendly containers? I liked the ice cream, but will find a more environmentally friendly shop in the future.

The gelato here was very tasty and reasonably priced. They had gluten-free and dairy-free options as well. There are quite a few dairy-free options with the sorbet and most of the gelatos are gluten free as long as they don't have something like cookie in them. While I didn't order one, the staff they were also able to make gluten free ice cream cake by omitting the sponge cake bottom on their gelato cakes
