Genesee Brew House

We tried going on a Saturday evening for dinner but the wait time was an hour and 30 minutes for a table inside and outside. They don’t take reservations, so be prepared to wait if you want to go on a Friday or Saturday night! So instead, we went the next day at 11am when they first opened. I’m so glad we did because we got a seat on the balcony overlooking the falls. Service was very friendly and accommodating! I got the veggie burger on a gluten free bun with a side of chips. My group tried the pretzel appetizer and they said it was amazing. The Mac and cheese was also a huge hit for my friends!

Not a lot of gluten free options. I wasn’t expecting a lot which was wise. When I asked about gluten free options, the server had a QR code to scan that gf the menu with labeled allergies. However, the sauces for the wings were not labeled so she had to check on a few things multiple times. I ordered chicken wings and they were fine. Nothing spectacular and the sauces were fine. Nothing inherently wrong with this place, just not enough gluten free options. The seasonal salad had beer in the vinaigrette making it not gf. Again, not unexpected just really limited if you’re gluten free. Beautiful views of Rochester and plenty of free lot parking. Everyone was helpful and friendly.
