George's on Harbour

I don’t normally boast about a restaurant, but tonight is an exception! Tonight we had the pleasure of dining at George’s on Harbour in Kincardine. Not only was the food fabulous, we had chicken Alfredo, both regular and gluten free, panko crusted pork chop and the very best desserts in the world, the atmosphere was so cozy. Honesty, this was an incredible experience. With the outstanding views of Lake Huron to the incredible staff who made you feel so welcomed and special, the evening was memorable. Thank you Christina, Debra and Chef Alex for your impeccable service and personal attention, this night that will go down as one of my cherished memories. So family, friends, friends of friends….. when in the Kincardine area make reservations at George’s for an evening like to other. Cheers and bon appétit.

Dinner reservations on the patio 6:30 on a Thursday evening (recommend reservations). Shrimp cocktail app was presented over a martini glass w a bed of sauce and mixed red cabbage, carrot, and kale (great presentation and we enjoyed as a mini salad). Mains - salmon (gluten free served w mashed potatoes - thank you chef!), along with a tomato reduction and asparagus. Perfectly cooked. I had the tagliatelle w short rib ragu and it was one of the better Ragu sauces I have experienced. Both meals served fresh and hot. I would highly recomme d this restaurant. Prices although medium to high are worth the quality of service and atmosphere. We will definitely return. Note they also have a separate banquet type room overlooking the lake, with its own patio, for private group get togethers.
