Gianni's Pizza

Gianni’s Pizza in Wilmington is one of those places that the locals frequent. I know this because locals turned me on to the place, and for good reason. This is a classic Italian eatery for great thin-crust pizza (many, many to choose from) by the pie or slice, fantastic cheesesteaks and loaded subs. The business here is quite robust in this rather small pie-wedge shaped brick building. There is seating available outside and on the second floor. Gluten-free pizza dough is also available. Highly recommended.

Tried out the gluten free pizza crust tonight. I think it may even be the same crust that seasons uses 🤩 I would suggest asking for the cheese and sauce as close to the edge as possible. In hindsight I would probably request extra sauce too. For me it would taste a bit better with less “crust” unless you have a dipping sauce 🤗 Service was great (thank you Julie!!) and I enjoyed my entire experience.
