In reference to the previous review, I want to share my experience at Asmae restaurant. The food, I must say, was excellent. However, after 30 minutes, I started to feel sick. What happened to me was a big mistake. They assured me that they had knowledge about celiac disease, but when I called from my bed, the chef himself explained to me that by placing the gluten-free bread in the same place where they heat the bread with gluten, arguing that the high temperatures eliminate everything.
Sorry, but that's not correct. That is direct contamination, not cross contamination.
Cross contamination would be, for example, accidentally using previously used and dirty tweezers. If you offer a gluten-free service, it would be important that you take the necessary measures to avoid any oversights. If you are not prepared to implement these protocols, honestly, you should be of no use to us.
It's a shame. I would like you to really put yourself in our shoes and take care of our service 100%. For example, it would be as simple as placing a piece of baking paper on the base of the tray and using the fanless oven program to prevent the remains of other food from scattering. Or simply use the typical grill bar toasters with baking paper to prevent someone from getting sick.
That's just what happened to me: I ended up in bed, with migraines, in the bathroom, and unable to enjoy my day off. Celiacs also want to enjoy a meal without feeling these great fears.
If you make an extra effort to take care of these details, I have no problem recommending you to our celiac community.
