We live nearby and visit occasionally. We both eat gluten free (and dairy free) so we appreciate some options for that.
Good things: they know how to properly cook a darn egg (not everyone does!), food tastes good, they have some gluten free options, and the atmosphere is chill. Staff are also pretty friendly.
Less than great things: fairly expensive for small portion sizes- my wife & I usually leave still hungry. We spend about $50-$60 for us both with a breakfast and coffees… They have some gf pastries but what we’ve had I’ve literally crunched on granules of sugar in them.
I will say, they have excellent tomato basil soup (my wife loves it) and their chicken cobb salad is probably the best bang for your buck for $17.
For us, the price versus portion size isn’t quite where it needs to be for us to be regulars, even though we’ve wanted to be. 😂 we love the idea of a local corner cafe, but with the pastries & portions we haven’t been able to make this spot home.
