Gigi's Cupcakes

Don’t know why the ratings aren’t higher for this place. Gigi’s is a lifesaver for me as a husband with a gluten free wife. We really appreciate the options they have for her. Just got some gluten free cupcakes for her and a regular (if you can call a strawberry cheesecake cupcake regular) one for me. All were beyond delicious. Stop being so critical people! Enjoy what they are, not what they’re not.

Used to love Gigi’s; however; it feels like it has fallen flat in recent times we’ve been there. Notably, never had an undercooked/raw cupcake from there and got that lovely experience yesterday with one of the gluten free options. It was also dirty at the time of our visit. Staff were also unwelcoming—little to nothing was said, plus what are the chances you have two different kids in at the same time and you can’t muster up a happy birthday to them? Lastly, the prices. Oh. My. Every time I’m in there I can’t fathom that cupcakes are $5.25. I understand inflation, but the cupcakes have gotten smaller over the years AND I remember when $2 Tuesdays was a thing. The points reward system is not worth it for the average person getting cupcakes once in awhile. Bring back special discount days, birthday treats, better discounts for quantity etc. I say this all as someone who used Gigi’s for their wedding several years ago—it was advertisement worthy, literally! Can’t say I’d trust them with the same at this time. Change in management? Burnt out staff? Don’t know, but we’ll take our special days for treats elsewhere.
