Gilbert's Beach Bar & Kitchen

What an amazing find. Great food, great bar (plus cocktails) and great atmosphere and setting. Lots of tables are under cover with individual heating for those colder or rainy days. Super friendly staff and flexible chef. Lots of options for Gluten Free and dogs are also welcome. Car park right next door.

We enjoyed it so much on our first day of holiday we promised the children we would come back. They loved the Gilbert burger, amazing hot chocolate with fudge pieces and mocktails. Seafood chowder was fabulous so good we had it twice- loads of fish, lovely sauce to dip your bread, not spicy despite chilli on menu. Loads of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Views outstanding. Need to walk around at high tide as sea comes in to obscure beach access from Hayle beaches.
