The most useless thing I've ever experienced in a restaurant: they seat us at a table, wait 30 minutes for us to be served, and the restaurant is empty (4:00 PM). We're celiac, and they had the brilliant idea of ​​giving us gluten-containing breadsticks to "wait." Anyway, it's hard to do a bad job in the hospitality industry without people, but here you're showing off, walking around the restaurant without serving the diners...

DON'T GO THERE. I give it one star because I can't give it less. It's been a long time since I've had such a bad dinner somewhere. I went with a gluten-intolerant friend and we ordered a gluten-free pizza and a risotto. The pizza (€13) was frozen and poorly made. And the risotto (€15)… well, the worst thing I've eaten in a long time, it was reheated from the day before. To never return.

If you are in Ponferrada and you fancy Italian food, Ginos is the place you have to go. From the moment you enter, you realize that the place has a good vibe: the staff is super friendly and always willing to help you with a smile. The menu is amazing if you like Italian cuisine. They have everything: fresh pasta with finger-licking sauces, pizzas with crispy dough and generous toppings, and dishes like mushroom and truffle risotto or lasagna bolognese that are simply incredible. Plus, they have vegetarian and gluten-free options, so no one goes without eating well. The atmosphere is great: modern but cozy, ideal for a dinner as a couple, with family or friends. The decoration is cool, with a rustic touch that makes you feel at home. In short, Ginos de Ponferrada is a place where you can eat well, have a good time and enjoy real Italian food.
