We stopped in, as my husband hadn't been there in years. He got a pizza with extra cheese & black olives. He said it was delicious. With my food allergies, the only thing safe was the garden salad sans cheese & dressing. The gentleman (I think the owner) was so nice! I found out that their gluten-free cauliflower crust is NOT vegan (parmesan & maybe eggs in it). So, unfortunately, no vegan veggie pizza for me from Giorgio's. We got our order to go, as my ESA dog was with us & I was not prepared with my own DIY dressing that day. I can not complain about the size & is $7. When I added some other veggies to it at home, it took me forever to eat. I also got Hank's birch beer soda (red) that didn't have any ingredients in I react to. It was delicious! My husband said the same about the black cherry. This opened up my food allergy "eating out world" a bit. In some places, even fancy chain restaurants will charge exorbitant amounts of money for a bowl of iceberg lettuce. But when I do want a nice big ol' salad, Giorgio's is definitely a top option when out & about. The other staff was just as nice, smiley, & kind as the (possible) owner. We watched him make the other pizzas, breads, etc. The bread/sub rolls looked so amazing & I'm so mad I can not eat gluten/wheat! I might state that we stopped after 5 pm on a Saturday just when they were getting busy. At 5:40, they were telling phone customers at 6:20 bc they were swamped. I never saw one person answering the phone get flustered or upset! (I assumed 1 caller did!) I wish I had those social skills to be that cool & calm under pressure!
