To celebrate yesterday, we treated ourselves to another evening in the Glück Und Seligkeit restaurant. An old church was converted here and transformed into a high-quality location. What can I say? This was our second time eating here in Bielefeld and it was once again an absolutely great evening. Not only are they extremely dog-friendly and seated us at a large table and our dog Alf was given a bowl of water without asking, no... my special requests to eat vegan and gluten-free were no problem at all. As an alternative to the bread beforehand, I simply got super delicious chickpea chips because “watching someone else eat is always stupid and we have alternatives there.” 👍🏻 Then there was a vegan carrot and ginger soup with coconut foam and the main course was a quinoa risotto with shiitake, cashews and sprouts. But an evening like this depends on the service. This one was also just great! Attentive, humorous and absolutely guest-oriented. In the end, of course, an alternative route to the exit was cleared for us, as unfortunately there were shards on the direct route because a glass had broken. That's how gastronomy works. Great and unusual location and the food is very good and tasty and the service is friendly There was an unfortunate situation in connection with gluten-free food and drinks that arose due to misunderstandings... this was later followed by a clarifying conversation with a responsible employee of the house. To my delight, my concern was taken seriously as "gluten-free" is a sensitive topic it is necessary for health reasons...
