My friend is gluten-free, therefore she was really happy with the wide selection. I tried the sesame ramen, but it was really bland, and the little bit of soy meat tasted like nothing

The other day, I tried to make a reservation by phone at this restaurant that advertises gluten-free service, but I had a very unfortunate experience. First of all, the person who answered the phone was not a Japanese staff member, but a male staff member who was probably of foreign nationality, who did not understand my intention of the reservation and repeatedly asked "reservation?" in English. Furthermore, even when I told him that I wanted to make a reservation for tonight, he did not seem to understand me well, and after a silent exchange that seemed to involve consulting with his superior, he muttered, "I'm busy today, keep calling," and hung up the phone. Even before enjoying the food itself, I felt that there was a lot of room for improvement in the education and attitude of the staff. If they are operating a business targeting people who need gluten-free service, I would like them to make sure that they have a solid foundation in customer service.
