Was glad to see Wilder Wood make a comeback! They were my favorite restaurant since I've moved to the Austin area. The food was decent but not as good as it used to be. The fried mushrooms and Brussel sprouts were the star of the show. Perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. The chicken fried steak was lackluster. Tad too much breading to meat ratio and had no seasoning. Was cooked perfectly but left a lot to be desired. The gravy was awful. It had the consistency of water and no flavor. Everything else was pretty good. One small thing was there was no plastic ware or condiments given (salt, pepper, etc). Will probably try it again because of the gluten free facility. Hope it's better next time.

I ordered from Gluten Freedom Nearby through Uber Eats and was blown away by how delicious everything was! It’s not easy finding gluten-free food that’s both safe and satisfying, but they nailed it. There was a small error with my order, but their customer service was quick, kind, and super helpful in resolving it. That kind of care makes a huge difference. Highly recommend for anyone gluten-free in Austin—I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Dedicated gluten free facility as a sensitive celiac I did not get sick. Took 10 minutes past the order time I was given. Chicken was overly breaded and doughy, barely any chicken mostly gooey breading with crunchy outside. Fries were okay. Fried shrimp considerably better but some have battered tails you don't noticed until it's in your mouth. I was having to just spit them out. :/ I don't think I'll come back. There are much better gluten free places than this one
