Gnocchi Italian Restaurant

If you are Gluten Free beware the waitstaff did not know what gluten is and gave me a plate of regular gnocchi. If a GF option is available the waitstaff should be educated as to the importance of the difference. Those who don’t know when you have celiac or a bad intolerance even eating one makes you very sick. The chef quickly grabbed my plate knowing what she did and yet somehow I was still expected to pay for it. When I questioned the waitress she assured me my plate was GF. Now I’m home with terrible stomach pain and had to cancel plans for afternoon. Oh and no apology was given

My husband and I went there on a whim. We are gluten sensitive and we have been looking for something different than your typical curly noodles with either a meat or marinara sauce. They offer gnocchi and cheese ravioli which was much different than we were used to. I enjoyed the gnocchi with meat sauce and my husband had the cheese ravioli with meat sauce. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. Price was appropriate and within the same range as any other restaurant in the same class. While we did hope they had an offering for a dessert to top off the excellent meal, we are also used to not having that option. Our server was excellent. Salad was fresh and the creamy garlic salad dressing was great addition to a flavor change. We can6wait to return.
