Let's start with the food. The meals taste like they were homemade from your family's kitchen with ingredients gathered from their back yard. It is hearty, fresh, and delicious. It is never over salted. They also are incredibly accommodating for allergies - in particular, they accommodated my gluten allergy with the most divine gluten free bread. The service is again like you are eating in your family's kitchen. Genuine, interested, and approachable. Waiters care and it shows. The ambiance is paramount to this spot, with wood floors and ceilings. With antiquities and comforts on the eye. This is a well-kept gem, one that I was hesitant to even review (selfishly) as this establishment goes over and beyond.

On Thanksgiving day l was part of a group at the restaurant. 2 people in the group were gluten and dairy free. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we were protected from gluten and dairy. The kitchen even made grape soup (which was very good) for us !! They had gluten- free stuffing!! Talked with Chris, who is the Chef, about the buffet entrees. All items, except the stuffing, were gluten-free. Such a great experience in spite of our food restrictions!!
