The overall dining experience was excellent, but it was marred by the decision to play loud club music in an already noisy space. We had to repeat ourselves frequently to the server and each other, and it was difficult to communicate with people who weren't right next to us. This took away from the family-style meal. The service was friendly and excellent, and the automatic inclusion of the fee was understandable. The food was varied and accommodated our allergies and dietary restrictions. The value was good, and the highlights were the chicory salad, hodo yuba, lao sausage, and grilled oyster mushrooms. The drinks were good, but the first round arrived after the food. There was a minor issue with the red curry not being served with bowls initially. The Ohana table booking process could be improved. Overall, a great experience apart from a few drawbacks.

This place is amazing! The food and drinks are absolutely incredible, and the staff is exceptional. I highly recommend going with a group so you can try a variety of things. You can easily order everything on your phone and it arrives quickly, so you can do multiple rounds. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the sommelier's wine selection, especially the wines made by women. Additionally, the rooftop offers a fantastic view of the historic and beautiful Women's Building across the street.

The restaurant has a fun and lively atmosphere with delicious food. The menu offers shareable plates inspired by Laotian and Filipino flavors, but the spice level is not too intense for most people. The Brussels sprouts salad and tiger shrimp salad were particularly outstanding. The catfish red curry was good, but a little too sweet for my taste and could have used more spice and tartness from lemongrass. The drinks were creative, although some found them to be weak. The only downside was the limited beer selection. Overall, a fun and tasty spot in the Mission, but be prepared for the bill to add up quickly with the small plates.
