twists, to keep it flavorful and fun. For starters, antipasti, we had fried olives and little neck clams. Green olives had a light, crunchy breading that brought out their sweetness. The clams were fresh and sweet, in a sauce with Chilean peppers and spreadable salami, served on crostini, which allowed you soak up every tasty morsel. Truly mouth-watering. For pasta, we chose the Creste Di Gallo with Duck Bolognese. One serving was plenty for two. The macaroni was perfect, hand-made at the restaurant. The Bolognese was fresh and flavorful, neither too weak nor too strong. Main course was North Sea salmon, which tasted fresh, was lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. We had gluten-free chocolate cake, which was smooth and moist, and an olive oil cake, also moist and slightly lemony. Coffee was served in a French press, and was smooth and rich, without any bitterness. Our server was cheerful and informative; present but never intrusive. The atmosphere is modern, yet relaxed. We did not feel rushed or pressured. Importantly, all the ingredients are fresh, giving a sparkle of taste to every bite.
