Oh. My. Goodness! If you're GF, do.yourself a favor and stop here! It's always so difficult to find GF treats, let alone GOOD GF treats. I was so excited to discover this bakery. We purchases the cupcake cup, veagan cookies, and one of the donuts. The cupcake cup was just that- a cupcake in a cup. We enjoyed it, but it wasn't our favorite of the 3. The vegan cookie was SO GOOD. It was soft, buttery, flavorful, and moist. Most vegan cookies I've had are dry, flavorless, and crumbly. My favorite item was the donut - hands down. My husband favored the cookie (he's not GF). But that donut ..... It was so soft, moist, and just amazing! It wasn't dense or dry. The thing that stood out to me the most was the texture of everything. It was all soft and smooth. It didn't have that grainy dry texture GF items often do. I'm from Lynchburg and own a bakery there - we're the only bakery producing GF product in the area. I understand how difficult it is to produce GF products that check all the boxes: smooth texture, flavorful, moist, and tastes good. This place checked all those boxes and then some. I got to talk with one of the owners while I was there. She didn't rush through the conversation, answered my questions, and even took time to chat with me about Gluten Free in general and even business owner topics like the best POS system. It was a great experience, great people, wonderful space, and phenomenal treats. I will definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in the area!

I was so happy to find Gourmet Goddesses while planning a recent trip to West Virginia. As soon as I contacted them, Essie was friendly, helpful, and excited to assist. She helped me create a custom birthday cake with buttercream icing in the exact shade of blue I wanted, paying attention to every detail. The cake looked beautiful and tasted amazing! The chocolate cake was moist, and the frosting was perfectly sweet. It went above and beyond what I hoped for. I didn’t think I’d find a gluten-free bakery so close to where we were staying. Finding Gourmet Goddesses was a great surprise, and the cake made my birthday feel even more special. If you’re looking for tasty gluten-free treats, I highly recommend this bakery!

Best baked treats this celiac has ever had! The ladies were so sweet and helpful in making decisions for my first visit. The store was cute and inviting. I will be back!! Oh…and yes, I hate a cinnamon roll as soon as I got in the car!
