Grana Cucina - Valletta

This place had good reviews so we were expecting great things, however we were very disappointed. The service was very slow with our main meals taking almost 1 hour to arrive. We had to chase where the food was as people on the table next to us who ordered after us had their food and finished it before ours even arrived. When it eventually arrived the bolognese was tasty but the gluten free bolognese was luke warm. The side salad and bruschetta was also disappointing. When we complained about the wait time the employee was not at all apologetic and advised that it took so long as everything is cooked fresh. I don’t think this is the case, as I can’t see them cooking every bolognese from scratch for each order. They also advised that it only takes 20 minutes to cook but that as it was busy that’s why it took even longer. However, the restaurant was not very busy at all as it was past the main lunch rush hour. A small discount was given after asking for the food delay but the attitude to the complaint was poor.
