Grandma's in Da Kitchen

Everything I could have hoped for in a place slinging soul food. Melt in your mouth brisket, seasoned mashed potatoes a d the owner cooks her greens and beans in turkey not ham so everyone can eat. Not heavily advertised, but she has gluten free bread for sandwiches and knows which ssides and dishes have gluten. She offered to freshly fry a catfish for me without gluten products if I wanted! Will definitely be back- friendly and genuine service, down home feeling.

This place has the goods! Variety that was not expected, so many choices to mix and match. Delicious. Friendly. And they make their own desserts. They have their spices down! Fries are spot on ribs mmmm. And options for vegetarians, gluten free stuff that I did not try but it is not just for meat eaters. The cornbread was most excellent. You will be full. Portions were not wimpy. These folks are doing a great service for their community.
