Granite City Food & Brewery

Updating my review. Because I was out for several hours over the dinner hour and was looking for something hot and gluten-free, I decided to try Granite City again. I placed a very simple carryout order of spinach dip. I was just going to eat it in the car. When I opened it, the first thing I noticed was that the top was completely covered in green onions, an ingredient that wasn't mentioned on the menu, and which pretty much ruined the flavor of the dip for me. The second thing I noticed was that the cheese was completely unmelted. The dip varied in temperature from lukewarm to very cool, almost cold. This was a simple order, the store wasn't even busy, and they still managed to mess it up. The one good thing I have to say was that the hostess was very friendly. Old review: Super salty soup and a mediocre sandwich. I haven't been here for a couple of years and went back because I wanted French onion soup. Not likely to go again.

Great food and selections of food !!! Choices from a complete extensive gluten free menu, to shrimp, fish, steak, bison and veal, along with a brunch and lunch buffet.
