Important information for anyone with celiac disease: their gluten-free pizza is not considered celiac-safe. Before ordering, we specifically asked the staff about their preparation process and the risk of cross-contact. They explained that only the crust is gluten-free. The pizza is prepared on the same surfaces and in the same area as regular pizzas, where wheat flour is present, and it is baked in the same oven on the same surface. They do not use a separate tray or pizza stone for the gluten-free pizza. The staff clearly confirmed that they do not recommend it for people with celiac disease. Considering the additional $4 charge for the gluten-free crust, it is disappointing that no meaningful precautions are taken to reduce cross-contact. The pizza looks delicious, but unfortunately, it is not a safe option for someone with celiac disease.
