Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. - Fitchburg

My 6 year old daughter has celiac and we were pleased to find they have a gluten free menu. However they do have a shared fryer so she was unable to have fries which she was disappointed with but we have come to find this in most places. She really liked the cheeseburger and the GF bun. We did have an issue though when her food came out it had fries on the plate. The waiter said we could just remove them and we had to push him that we needed them to make her a new burger because she has a gluten allergy and can’t have any gluten touching her food. I was not happy he didn’t even apologize or admit that anything wrong occurred and then it took another 20 minutes to get her new burger which we were almost done with our food at that time. She was supposed to get applesauce with it as well but he never brought that either. Food was good, service with this particular waiter however was not good. We will be back but if we happened to have the same waiter we will be requesting a new one.

There is ranch dressing on the gluten sensitive menu, but after the waitress went back and asked the kitchen if it was gluten free she said that it wasn't. It's difficult for those people who physically can have gluten if they can't trust the gluten sensitive menu very well.
