Great Harvest Bread Co. Evanston

Their gluten free bread is amazing! I had the baja turkey sandwich with it, so good! I just love the dressing and thin sliced pickled red onions! Definitely will return!

I used to frequent Great Harvest as I have a family member who is gluten free and Great Harvest has some gluten free options. The dirty floor, clearly not deep cleaned for quite a while, and other dirty things like counters, made me a bit uncomfortable but I continued to buy. Until one day when I used the bathroom. It was so dirty (floor, sink, mirror, walls, etc.) that I stopped going in. That was 2019. I went in last week because I wanted to give them another chance and I figured that perhaps with the pandemic and shut-down last year, deep cleaning had occurred and the place would be kept cleaner over all. I was so disappointed as it appeared nothing changed. Everything was just as dirty, including the bathroom, as several years ago. I really like Great Harvest baked goods. It's just with everything so unclean, I can't help but wonder if the kitchen is as bad as the rest of the place.
