Gross Confection Bar

It's a little downtown metro place, just below street level. It has amazing food. I was upset that they might not have any gluten free options but if you haven't tried their chocolate sorbet you need to. Frankly, it's better than the chocolate ice cream, so much smoother and way more chocolatey. It's hands down my favorite chocolate sorbet, this side of the mason dixon line! Seriously, we are close to 3 hours away to travel here, and it's worth it Every time! Super chill, laid back waitstaff and the desserts are just sensational!!!

Puts their “gluten free” baked goods on the same plates as the gluten-containing ones….not gf or celiac safe. It’s really not that hard to keep them separate, not sure why bakeries do this

I really wanted to love it here… If you have food allergies, don’t even bother trying. Although their menu says to inform your server of any allergies, it also says absolutely no substitutions or modifications. So when it came time to order (gluten and dairy intolerant here…) nothing worked. So I asked if something could be substituted, I was given a hard no. So my husband ordered. Server left and brought my husbands tea then said “oh so your sorbetto will be substituted with the hazelnut gelato, I hope that’s ok?” Sorry, won’t be going back.
