Absolutely wonderful. The owner is gluten free and so they really understand celiac/GF needs - almost everything on the menu except 2 dishes is or can be GF and the food, service, and vibe are great. The building is so cool - built in 1714! At the end of the meal they even brought me homemade GF biscotti. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the wonderful evening at the Grotto. Despite the Grotto being full and busy, we received a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The "special treatment" for celiac disease was also a blessing for us, as this is anything but standard for us in a Swiss restaurant. Most dishes can be prepared gluten-free, everything was explained to us thoroughly, and all four of our menu items were delicious. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Grotto; we thoroughly enjoyed the evening! Reservations recommended.
