Gursha Ethiopian Restaurant

I’ve been eating Ethiopian food for over 20 years, so I’ve developed certain expectations when it comes to freshness and quality; especially when it comes to traditional dishes made without preservatives. I also have a very sensitive stomach, and after trying six different Ethiopian restaurants in the Vegas area, this is the only one that gave me absolutely no digestive issues. I ordered the veggie platter and was not disappointed! The portions were generous enough to split into two smaller meals. The injera was light, fluffy, and gluten-free, and you can really taste that it’s freshly made. The greens and the cabbage/potato stew were standouts — cooked perfectly, flavorful, and tender without being overdone. I’d rank Lucy’s as a close second, but their greens were more like plain spinach without much spice or depth. Here, though, every dish has that long-stewed, soulful flavor that’s both comforting and easy to digest. With so many vegan and gluten-free options, this place is a must-try — especially for anyone who appreciates authentic Ethiopian cooking that’s as kind to the stomach as it is to the taste buds.

It was a lovely, warm and inviting atmosphere. They made Gluten Free Teff Injara for me and it was very delicious. Please be sure to call ahead one day at least for the GF. We had a wonderful experience and left with full happy bellies.
