I was at Gusto's for a 25th anniversary party and the venue did NOT disappoint!
Our server was Paul and he was VERY attentive. He asked everyone what drink (alcolol) or beverage they'd like upon entry, kept all glasses filled, took photos for us and kept everything running VERY smoothly.
The room was beautiful, the windows were all very clean, the set-up (dining, cake, appetizer & gift tables) were perfect and the vaulted ceiling just really made the room absolutely lovely.
The food was amazing! There was prosciutto wrapped asparagus, eggplant rollotini, fried calamari, focaccia bread and fried mozzarella for appetizers; entree choices were salmon, NY strip or chicken francaise with sides of roasted potatoes, broccoli and pasta with marinara sauce as well as arugula salad with pears and dried cranberries. (They also have gluten-free pasta.)
I have no idea, yet, of their desserts as we brought cannoli cake and Italian pastries & cookies from delPrete (in Bridgeport), but I do intend to find out because I just found out they do a "pasta wheel" on Tuesdays. I do plan to be there for one of those.
I would DEFINITELY recommend Gusto's for any event you may have coming up or just for dinner or a date night. I promise, you will love the food as well as the incredible wait staff.
