The service was lovely and the coffee and orange juice were great. The food tasted good but I give it 3 stars because I thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was. I wouldn’t have minded that even but what really put me off was being charged after the fact for asking for a bit of butter for my toast. With the price of the food I felt a tiny pat of butter should have been included. It did say “extra butter” was €.70 on the menu but I assumed that meant “extra” and that the toast wouldn’t have come dry. We didn’t even get the second order of toast because my husband can’t eat gluten so I thought that would have at least balanced out to €.70. Yes, it’s only €.70 but it’s the principle. Im not from here, though, so perhaps this is how it’s done in Germany.
Also anyone looking for gluten free, beware. There are items you can have like yogurt and the eggs without toast but a google search says “menu highlights: gluten-free” but there is not a dedicated gluten free menu. Don’t think it would be a problem if you aren’t celiac though.
