Castle 1900

The restaurant is clearly understaffed. There were entire sections of the seating areas empty, but a wait at the door. The wait staff is under trained and our waitress admitted that she told a previous customer that they had no way to accommodate his gluten sensitivity, so they left. When the food arrived, everything tasted like lemons, especially the carrots that came with the salmon. It was so intense, I couldn't eat them, they were gross. The rest of the food did not look like it was worth the cost, mediocre at best. The drinks took a really long time to arrive, other than the water, which came quickly. I really easy to love this place, but it was so bad that I just never want to go back. Even where we sat, had a giant flood light spotlight on our eyes, so the cool black light ambiance wasn't even that great.

Review: Unique ambiance. Fun drink names. Has gluten free options. Our server "Carlos" was fun and playful with my daughter. Food is American style. Black lights are everywhere, so wear something that glows for some extra fun. I can't give them 5 stars as there were issues. The table we were set at was unstable, and the ladies bathroom had two plumbing leaks. Appetizers: Fried mac and cheese bites, with marinara.. Small portion for an appetizer, but delicious with the marinara. Drinks: Smashing Pumpkin, *toostrong*. Entree: Royal Burger and fries. Burger was good, fries bland and unsalted.

Had a dinner with girlfriends and kids, and it was fantastic. The kids loved the atmosphere, and our waitress let them explore the entire restaurant while we waited for our food. I have to eat gluten-free, and the Haunted Castle Burger (with no bun) and flourless chocolate cake were delicious.
