HWY TO INDIA

This place has a lot of gluten free options and huge portions. Ordered some lamb Biryani and it was 4 servings worth of food.

We walked into an experience of deliciously thoughtful flavours that sent us on our way happily! It was recommended that we stop to get food to eat from Highway to India Indian cuisine after visiting the beach🏖️. I am so glad because we were warmly welcome to sit wherever we wanted, and our waitstaff was professional, and knowledgeable about the options that would be suitable for someone who doesn’t eat gluten and dairy sensitive. He made recommendations with careful considerations of my limitations. I was thoroughly impressed by the food, service, the Indian music which infused the total ambience with authentic HWY TO INDIA 🇮🇳 influence. Happy surprise finding this place in a strip mall in Ocean Springs. Well worth a stop off of I10 for authentic Southern Indian food. Be prepared to wait for the Masala Chai as it is freshly prepared and worth the small wait. Loved the unique chutney options served with the onion pakora. Our entrees were excellent and the rasmalai was a perfect cooling ending to the meal. Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options on the menu. Many of the breaded dishes use lentil (we much prefer this to wheat) flour. Will definitely return next time we are passing through the area.
